Opening doors so every individual can experience connection, confidence, and care

HorseSense is committed to making adaptive horseback riding and unmounted horsemanship accessible to our entire community, opening doors to experiences that many individuals and families would otherwise never have the opportunity to enjoy. Thanks to county waiver programs and other third-party funding sources, we have been able to significantly expand our impact across the city, allowing many families to participate in our services at no cost.

Yet, not everyone qualifies for these programs. Too often, families and individuals who need support still fall through the gaps. This is where our community comes together.

The No Barriers Fund exists to bridge that gap—helping to offset or fully cover lesson costs for those who need it most, ensuring that financial barriers never stand in the way of growth, healing, or connection.

In 2025, approximately 15% of our participants relied on financial assistance from HorseSense to take part in our programming. Because of the generosity and compassion of our community, we were able to make their participation possible. Nearly $10,000 was invested in free or reduced-cost programming—an incredible testament to what we can achieve together.
