For more than ten years, HorseSense has been blessed with a place to call home. Because of the generosity of those who opened their property to us, hundreds of participants have experienced growth, healing, and belonging. Our team remains grateful for the years of partnership, stability, and shared mission that made our work possible.
Today, we find ourselves in a season of transition.
As we begin the process of relocating to a new home for our program, we do so with both humility and hope. This transition marks an important and pivotal moment in our organization’s journey. While programming pauses briefly so we can focus fully on this change, our commitment to the individuals and families we serve remains unwavering.
Moments of transition also bring challenges. As we prepare for the future, we must sustain essential operations, retain the dedicated staff who make this work possible, care for our beloved herd, and secure the foundation of our next home. We can’t do it without the support of our community and all of those who believe in our mission.
Funds raised now and in the coming months will:
Sustain the organization during this transition (including retaining our staff and basic care needs for the horses)
Cover relocation and creating accessible infrastructure for future programming
Protect the long-term stability of our mission until programming can resume
Ensure we return stronger and positioned for growth
This is a vulnerable moment. It is also an opportunity.
